About

Born and raised in Central Illinois, Annabelle Hiel has been using writing as a means of exploring worlds far more fantastical than corn fields since she was young. She is currently attending college, with plans to major in Marketing while continuing to develop her writing career. She independently published her debut novel, Meirlich Oga's Children's Home, in August of 2025, with prior publishing credits as a creative contributor to the indie RPG Campfire. Her current work-in-progress is a sequel to Meirlich Oga's Children's Home, with plans to finish the series as a duology. When she's not writing, editing, or worrying about word count, Hiel enjoys spending time with her family, reading, playing pickleball, dreaming about being in a regularly schedule Dungeons and Dragons group, and investing way too much time and thought into her favorite fictional men.
